UI The Movie Review: Upendra once had a separate fan base as a director. The films he directed as a hero also did well in Telugu. As a director, he made films like A, shh, Super, Upendra, Uppi 2, and Raktakanniru and made a generation like him. However, he took a gap as a director after making films as an actor. After almost 9 years, he came up with this UI film. Usually, in most of Upendra's films, he shows real incidents that happen in society and satirizes society. Did the same happen in this film... What is the real story of this film... Will it work out in Telugu? Let's see things like this in the review.

Ui The Movie Story:

A film directed by Upendra creates a sensation. At the same time, it creates controversy. People go crazy after watching a film with the title 'UI Movie'. Some people jump with joy that they have found 'focus'. In such circumstances, a review writer (Murali Sharma) does not know what to write about this movie. So he thinks that he should examine this movie carefully and watch the same movie again and again. Thinking that this is not the case, he goes to look for Upendra and finds a script written by Upendra near his house. That script is revealed to us as a movie from his imagination.

In that script, Satya (Upendra) and Kalki (Upendra) are two brothers born a few minutes apart. However, they have different mentalities. Satya wants to change the world with goodness. Kalki (Upendra) in reverse tries to take revenge on those who destroyed his mother and make such a society without names or forms. Kalki, unable to prevent that, imprisons his own brother Satya. What happens then? Has Satya come out, and what has Kalki done in this world? To know what conclusion the review writer reached, you have to watch the movie.

UI The Movie Analysis:

At the beginning of the movie, a card is placed saying, ‘If you are smart, leave now. If you are stupid, watch the whole movie.’ While we are confused by that, he immediately passes another rule, saying, ‘Smart people look like stupid, and stupid people act like smart people.’ Since we are determined to watch the movie, we sit there thinking we are not smart. However, from the beginning to the end of the movie, Upendra tries to prove to us that we are not smart.

The intelligence in the first card is nowhere to be seen in the movie. Something appears on the screen. We watch it. We fall asleep. We wake up. The story goes nowhere. It wanders here and there. Again, there is no story in this, so what is the point? That is a kind of narrative confusion. Upendra seems to think that the people who watch this movie will not understand or will go crazy. He symbolically shows people who watch the same movie in the theater and then behave crazy.

At one point, we wonder if we have come to a different movie by mistake. Then, when Upendra appears, we relax...no, no..we think we are watching the same movie. Upendra has poured all his intelligence, depression, suppression, and hyper in one movie into a pile. Upendra's intention may have been that people should talk strangely about this movie. That is what happened..one wonders if Upendra's mind has gone bad. However, if there are people who can find the story and understand it even in such a chaotic mess, Upendra can call them and ask them what the story is. Because he may not have understood the story either.

Technically:

What is not to be said in the movie..The cinematography is highlighted in some scenes. The background seems very heavy. The songs are just okay. Only the Troll song is memorable. Upendra's costumes are new. The UI script was also written anew after almost 5 years of hard work, but it seems to take the viewer ten years to understand. In terms of direction, Upendra could not compete with this generation. But only he can take some shots. The production values are good.

In terms of actors... Upendra has done something new as always, changing everything from voice to get up and looking. Ravi Shankar appeared in a small negative role. Since Upendra is the hero and villain in this, the entire screen is his. Murali Sharma has not been there for a long time. There is nothing to say.

Final Thought

The rule that Upendra has set since his first film A is that not only the makers but also the viewers should be intelligent. That movie is also said to be only for the intelligent. But it has a story, twists, and some satire. But this movie has surpassed all of that. However, if you want to see an Upendra fan, they might like it.
